FACILITY

The Grafton Yarn Store acommodates a standard class of six to eight students for our project classes. But when things get "knitty," as they often do on a busy evening of open knitting, students spill into our sitting area which features a couch and several comfy chairs. Whether you are in the shop for a class or stopping by for some one-on-one instruction, we have all the comforts of home.

INSTRUCTORS

ANN SCHANTZ Grafton Yarn Store owner Ann learned to knit from her brother at age 5. In addition to running the store, she teaches most of the Wednesday night project classes. She loves to design her own patterns for the shop, one of which was recently published in the book "One Skein Wonders."

MILDRED SCHUMACHER Mildred Schumacher has been a big part of the Grafton Yarn Store for many years. She worked here as a young woman over 50 years ago when the building still functioned as a woolen mill. She continues to teach our ongoing knitting classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

JAN STEPHENS Jan Stephens joined us last year and acts as our resident expert sock knitter.

EDY STANLICK Edy has over 40 years knitting experience and will be running most of our beginning knitting and crochet classes.
